Report to Area Director Responsibilities: Report to " Area Director Eastern Europe". Learn about specialty of banana market. Establish contacts with existing banana ripeners at the market, distributors and KAcc. Organize regular sales and develop sales volume in Latvia. Planning volumes for clients on weekly basis ( market monitoring - daily, contacts and negotiations with distributors, ordering a fruit, organization of transport from European ports to ripener facilities). Prepare Proforma invoices, as well as regular invoices ( "JD Edwards 8" un "JD Edwards 9"), issuing, them afterwards. Process quality control/ inspection of arrived fruit and report to Quality Dept., in case of issues. Prepare Credit notes, if needed. Achievements: After my 9 months traineeship in Prague where more experienced colleagues located, I have returned to Riga where started/ continued my activities with Latvian customers. Regular checkings and analysis of my P&L sheet ( on monthly basis), allowed to me: minimize loss in non-profit periods and maximize income - in profitable ones. Less than in a year, I have continued my activities with a customers in Lithuania, already. Based on a fact, that Company’s turnover and profit has increased on regular basis in my region, new markets: as Belarus and Kazakhstan has been offered to me for developing. As established working system has been worked properly in Baltic, both new markets were acquired shortly - in a successful way. Thus, during a years, I have established an independent and constantly growing enterprise with a regulary growing turnover and profit.
